Sleep Coaching

Sleep coaching is a gentle and emotionally responsive approach to help children and the whole family achieve optimum sleep. No two children are the same, and neither are their sleep challenges! My approach combines an informed understanding of the challenge(s) you and your little one(s) are facing and clearly outlines the steps to take. I help you to understand your sleep plan so you are confident to learn new strategies and make adjustments along the way. I am totally committed to supporting you to deliver emotionally responsive and supportive sleep coaching  to your family. My services are available for babies, toddlers and children and up to age I0 years, to resolve sleep niggles and complex sleep challenges.

How I work

I offer a free initial introduction call where we can get to know each other and work out the way forward. All my sleep support is bespoke, informed by a comprehensive sleep assessment and your sleep plan is created with just your child and your unique family in mind. I offer informed and emotionally responsive coaching support to help you achieve the sleep goals you desire for your little one and your family. I help you to cope with change and I motivate you so you can take the next steps with confidence, commitment and belief. I also provide you with tools to log your child's sleep, to plot little one's sleep progress and build your confidence to use different strategies.

sharing my personal and professional self


Hi. I'm mum to five (now grown up) children and grandma to five, all under age 5 years!

All of my children slept differently: one held onto his afternoon nap for ages, one cat-napped only. My youngest didn't sleep through until she was about 6! Yes, you read that correctly, she was 6. However, she did have challenging health needs, so there was a valid reason behind this. Nonetheless, I probably have a well-earned 'sleepless nights' award lurking somewhere!


 I often think if only I knew then, what I know now, life may have been different for us all. However, as a qualified infant and child sleep consultant it's actually you and your family who will benefit now.


I hold an established qualification in child development, a BA Hons degree and a Masters Degree in Childhood, Family and Youth work.  This is alongside my accredited sleep consultancy certificate, all of which support my ability to create a unique, tailored and bespoke sleep plan for you and your little one.


I have over 30 years experience working directly with children and families, including children with additional needs and disabilities. I am caring and work sensitively with families recovering from trauma, or dealing with emotional crisis such as loss, ill health, and unplanned changes to family life.


My ability to apply a thorough understanding of infant and child development alongside expert sleep knowledge is crucial to my success at Simply to Sleep.

A one-to-one consultation with Hazel to troubleshoot emerging issues and re-establish great sleep habits for you and your baby/child and whole family. 

This is a 45-60 minute session, where you share information and I offer on-the-spot  advice and guidance, including a bespoke Q&A opportunity that is dedicated to your circumstances, your child and your family.


If followed by a bespoke sleep plan package within 12 weeks, you receive a £60 discount. Quite simply it's the gift of sleep that carries on giving!

£275.00


Comprehensive child and family sleep assessment, bespoke sleep plan and a video consultation call to get you going.

This package includes follow up remote support sessions over a 14 day period to answer all your questions, keep you on track and help you achieve your sleep goals.

 

We include the use of tools to help you keep track of progress and break challenges down into smaller steps.
